How to get a zero-interest loan as a new user?
A zero-interest loan for a new user may sound suspicious, but such a loan can indeed be issued by most microfinance organizations (MFOs) in Ukraine. Financial companies use this method to attract new users and give borrowers the opportunity to test their service without risking their own money.
It is important to note that current legislation (including the Law “On Consumer Lending”) requires creditors to indicate the actual annual interest rate in the contract, making “0% loans” legally impossible. Nevertheless, MFOs offer new clients special conditions for their first loan, which is issued at a minimal rate — 0.01% or 0.1%.
To avoid spending time searching for financial companies willing to issue a first loan at zero percent and without rejection, use the services of Portmone. We feature only MFOs that meet the requirements of NBU Regulation No. 153, which regulates the licensing procedure for financial companies and defines the conditions under which they may provide financial services in Ukraine. This ensures the safety and transparency of the services provided.
How to get a 0% loan if you have already borrowed from MFOs?
If you have previously used microfinance services, you can still get a zero-percent loan. To do this, simply choose an MFO whose services you have not used before and that offers zero-interest loans for new users.
In addition, some MFOs run special promotions for returning customers, offering promo codes that allow them to borrow money at 0 percent. However, it is important to understand that such promotional offers for repeat customers are usually limited by amount or loan term.
What to do after choosing an MFO?
After reviewing all available credit offers on the Portmone website and selecting a financial company that meets your needs, you can proceed with the online application for a 0% loan. Follow this simple algorithm:
- Click “Apply” on the selected MFO card and wait for the system to redirect you to the lender’s website.
- Register on the MFO website, specify the loan amount and term, fill out a short application form, and verify the payment card on which you want to receive the funds. Submit your application for review.
- If your application is approved, you will only need to sign the agreement and wait for the money to be credited to your card (Visa, MC, and Prostir cards issued by Ukrainian banks are supported).
Thanks to automated data verification algorithms actively used by microfinance companies, the entire process takes no more than 15–20 minutes. Funds are credited to your card almost instantly after signing the loan agreement, allowing you to quickly resolve urgent financial issues.
What are the borrower requirements?
Ukrainian MFOs have relatively lenient requirements for borrowers, making zero-percent loans without rejection accessible to a wide range of users. A potential borrower must:
• be at least 18 years old
• have a stable source of income (salary, pension, etc.)
• have a valid passport or ID card and a taxpayer identification number
In addition, during the application process you will need a bank card (for example, Visa) and a mobile phone, which is often used for authorization on the lender’s website.
How to repay a zero-interest loan?
You can repay the loan in one of the following ways:
• directly on the MFO website where the loan was issued
• at a bank branch or via a mobile banking app
• through payment terminals
You can also repay the loan on the Portmone website or in the mobile app, which ensures secure and fast transfer of funds to the lender’s balance.
Using Portmone, you can not only find and apply for an online loan (such as an urgent online loan 24/7 or a loan with a bad credit history), but also pay for thousands of different services and utilities.
