Money transfer between cards Visa/Mastercard

“ Transfer of funds between payment cards is a service that allows to transfer money from your card to another by the receiving card number, even if the two cards are from different payment systems. ”

    You can make a transfer local currency between cards Visa, Mastercard or Maestro of any Ukrainian bank.

    Commission for the transfer is charged from the Sender’s account along with the transfer amount and is only 1% + 5 UAH.

    In 95% of transfers money are accrued not later than in 30 minutes and in other cases it takes – from 1 to 5 business days.

Limitations:

  • 25000 UAH – maximum amount of one transfer;
  • 75000 UAH – maximum amount of all transfers per day for one card;
  • 150000 UAH – maximum amount of all transfers per calendar month for one card;
  • 10 – maximum number of transfers per day for one card;
  • 25 – maximum number of transfers per month for one card.

INSTRUCTION

To use this service, please,:

  1. Fill in required fields on the page:
    • Sender’s card details
      • card number;
      • valid until;
      • CVC2/CVV2 код.
    • Recipient's card number
    • Sender’s phone number (optional, but is recommended)
    • Transfer amount, UAH
  2. Review conditions of providing the Bank Service and accept them (check corresponding field).
  3. Check all parameters you entered. If correct, click «Make transfer».
  4. Go through Authentification procedure confirming transaction by one of the following technologies:
    • by 3DSecure (Verified by Visa / Mastercard Secure Code) technology:

      If the Card of the Sender is connected to the 3DSecure in the bank that issued the card – for confirming of the operation You must put a one-time password provided to You on a mobile phone sent by bank..
    • by technology look-up (verification):

      If the Sender's Card is not connected to 3DSecure technology, you will need to go through the verification procedure of the payment card in the Portmone.com system/
      At the first stage of verification, the system authorizes a customer card for 1 UAH and assigns a six-digit one-time digital password, which will be required to be specified in step 2. After successful completion of the procedure, the system will transfer funds. 1 UAH is not charged, but is blocked. After 10-30 days there is an automatic unblocking of the amount on the card account.
      A one-time digital password you can find by contacting the call center bank issuing the card sender or in the SMS, received from the bank issuing the card sender – if the card is connected to the M-banking.
  5. The system will verify your data and tell if the transaction was successful in a couple of seconds after you click on «Confirm transaction».
  6. If the transaction was successful, period of availability of funds on the Sender’s card is defined according to the Issuing bank.

What is 3DSecure?

3DSecure (Verified by Visa/Mastercard Secure Code) is a way to make use of payment cards in the Web safer. In most banks, it means confirmation of a transaction by entering a Single-use SMS password.

How do I know the exact amount of commission for the transfer?

The commission fee is calculated and displayed on the screen automatically after you enter sending and  receiving card details, as well as the amount of transfer. You will always know exact cost of transfer before  you send it, therefore, there is no need to remember rates.

Why is the transfer not completed?

Most frequent reasons for rejection of transfer are the following:

  • there is no enough funds on the Sender’s card;
  • transfer is prohibited for this kind of Sending and/or Rceiving cards;
  • Sending and Receiving cards are not in UAH;
  • cards not permitted for transfer were used
  • transfer limit was exceeded
  • the transfer was rejected by the bank that has issued sending or receiving cards.
  • parameters of sending and receiving cards are incorrect. For instance, you may have entered incorrect card number, period of validity or CVC2/CVV2 code;
  • a bank may reject transfer without explaining reasons

The transfer was successful, but  funds have not arrived to the Sender yet. Why?

Term of transfer may take several days

Completion of transfer is to be checked on the receiving card (using the statement). В in case funds are transferred longer than expected, you can  contact our support service to make inquiry or complain and demand arranging your transfer. In your complain, state transfer parameters — date, time, amount, card numbers (first 6 and last 4 digits of the card) of a Sender and a Receiver.

I mistyped a sending card number — what shall I do?

It is quite difficult to mistype a  card number of a Receiver — the system checks card numbers using a certain algorithm and if you mistype  one or several digits of the card number, you will immediately get notification that this card number does not exist. In case if you entered a wrong number of an existing card and  the transfer was successfully made (you received notification that the transfer was successful) — it is impossible to make changes or recall a transfer.

I changed my mind, can I recall my transfer?

It is impossible to recall a successful transfer.
